Really interested in mounting a 10 gal Trail Air co2 tank in the rear of my D1. Where can you refill the co2 tank?

Ron, your local welding supply house can refill with CO2, plus a local beverage wholesaler has access to CO2, but they may not help since your container is not sanitized.

Your local Fire Extinguisher shop will be the cheapest

No such thing as a 10 gal tank, 10 pound yes!

I tried the paint ball route. When I told them how large the tank was, they just laughed. Seems that can't fill one that large.

Thanks,

I'd like to get one of those Trail Air tanks, but I'd like to get it filled up with nitrous oxide and attach a regulator hose long enough to reach me in the driver's seat.

Do we have any dentists on this board who can help me out???

Thanks,

Norm

Yes, paintball stores are typically not equipped to refill 10pound CO2 tanks. Usually, they fill from 50pound tanks and those just don't have what it takes for a ten pounder.

Like others have said, find yourself a welding supply house, gas supply or fire extinguisher company. They are the ones to go to.

well then you can't get CO2 as easy as it seams...

unless you live close to a welding supplier..
