The clear coat on the roof of our Disco is starting to disappear leaving those shitty looking blotches. I already have one other car with crappy paint...don't need another one...
Anyone have a rough idea of the cost of getting the clear coat redone on the roof? Anyone ever fixed this themselves?

If the clear coat is failing there is not a body man with pride in his work that would just spray over the top it. You would need to remove all the failing clear. Removing the clear coat would no doubt harm the color coat and then your back to a full two stage job. Most body shops give free estimates. |
