I'm adding 1 inch RTE spring spacers under the rear springs on my D1 with RTE 2" HD springs to compensate for heavy cargo. Will this added height in the rear end force the front end down? Any others running spacers in just the rear end? Ron Ward |

Put your hi-lift in your rear receiver and lift your truck 1" (measured at the jack). This should approximate the change in altitude in the front. I doubt that there will be any measurable difference. I'll withhold my name in case I'm wrong about this. Thanks, Mr. Chicken |

Wrong ,,, You are using a different type of leverage. The nose will go down some but not quite the same as placing a jack under the ass. Kyle |

Of course it's a different kind of leverage. However, it's free! That's why I recommended that he measure the lift at the ass end and not at the wheels. So, what are you thinking? 7/8" or 3/4"? Thanks, Mr. Chicken |

Possibly that much. You can actually figure it out through en equation... I am thinking closer to a half " or less... Kyle |

I did lift about 1" with the hilift at the receiver and the front nosed down about .5" or so which means I'll be looking for a spacer for the front when I add a winch at some point. Since I'll be removing the 10mm spacer now in place on top of the rear springs I can add those under the front springs to compensate... Hmm... Ron |
