i need to know when to take the metal "thing" that holds the shocks from extending off basically i need to know that if i take this thing off to early before i put it in the rover will it come apart i know stupid question but its my first time its an ome 115 |

Take it off. Let the shock extend fully. Then compress again. DO this a couple of times to "prime" the shock. On the fronts, mount the shock into the shock turret first. Then compress the shock and lower it into the bottom mount. Do it quick enough and you will have enough time to get a nut on the shock turret before the shock extends too far. Make sure the bottom shock bolt gets seated properly in the lower mount. The rears are easy too. Ron Ward |

anytime you want doesn't take a whole lot to compress the shock when it spreads out. peter |
