On my 1997 Disco the Anit-Lock light remains on. For a period of about six months it would come on a startup then extinguish once the vehicle was put in gear. However, this changed a week ago and now it stays on constantly. Your help is appreciated. Lee |

I have the same problem on my '97 Disco, LR say it is the ABS Sensor being out of align. My light no stays on or stays off, with no reason. LR can check it out, and will probably suggest a new sensor. Funny how the sensors on the D2 have been changed so they don't move about. Another LR know problem it seems. |

Try to reseat the sensor yourself, that usually fixes the problem, unless the sensor itself is bad. |

Just tap your sensors back in with a rubber mallet. Once the prob is fixed, the light will go out. |

Where is this sensor at? On the caliper? |

Not on the caliper. Its on the inside face of the wheel. I cant explain exactly, but look where the axle meets the wheel and check for a semi-thick wire that plugs into a sensor-looking thing. I know that sounds really technical, but you get the idea. |

Would they be noticeably backed out or should I try to seat all of the sensors? |
