Anyone know the best place to get aftermarket windshield wipers for a 99 Disco II? The dealer prices are obscene, and they don't even install em'! Thanks |

I have a D1. I found that I could just replace the blade (rubber) portion of the wipers using generic ones from Discount Auto Parts. It's way cheaper! Thanks, Mike B. |

The dealer wants $15 for each front wiper and $22 for the rear on a D1........ that's just insane. Besides, the obvious (making more money), why does the dealer want you to buy the entire wiper blade "assembly" versus just the blades? |

I went to the local Department Store and they had an electronic ANCO wiper looker-upper. Type in yer make year and model. ANCO makes wipers for discos. Don't buy that Pylon crap. I wasted cash on those ONE time. Junk, IMO. Try anco online. Find it yerself. I already spent more time finding you wipers then I spent finding 'em for the silver billet. |

Well guys heres the deal, wipers are expensive. If you live in a damp area the clips that hold the refill in place go first. Then it's a new blade. D1's. 94-95-96-? for sure are avalable for around $7.-8. each at NAPA. For sure D2 99's and 2000 have a new design that isn't avalable, except thru dealer! NAPA does have refills avalable for the 99 and 00 models, 20" long (thin). NAPA part #60-2001 Good luck |
