How come LR builds Defenders in Brazil that cost $35k and we can't import them here? Could I go down there and bring it here? Anyone have any information on this? The new 110s have power windows,alarms,etc and look really nice. Who runs the show over there anyway? All information wolud be appreciated......by the way, since Merc. Volkswagon and a few other car makers import diesels, why cant I buy a 110 disel and import that if it meets dot specs? |

You can bring in any vehicle you want, any year model etc.. If you want to spend the cash to make sure it meets Emission regs. Safety regs, etc... And where would you put airbags in a D110 or 90. |

The truck has to meet the safety standards for that year. And as far as I know dual airbags are now mandatory |

screw it.the 110 isnt that nice....my D1 does the job so I'll just stick with getting a kalahari instead...especially with those nice black tetra power seats.oooo yeah! I mean i like the 110 alot but this is just out of control what an individual would have to do to acquire one for a reasonable price....i can ave a new G-Wagon for that kinda a $..with built in gps and 3 CDLS! |
