Blake 265's are running 10.43" wide so most people run a different backspacing on thier rims to get some of the turning radius back. 12.5 or 11.5 you will lose more of your TR and you will have to trim or hack more of your fender to have them stuff right. |

Blake, 12.5-wide tires are perfectly okay on an 8-inch rim. but i wouldn't bother putting them in the disco. you don't gain much ground clearance, but you'd have to trim a lot because the tires won't clear the wheelwells. say, it is the same or less PITA to put 34x10.5 tires as 31x12.5. why bother? unless, of course, 80% of your wheeling is sand dunes. peter |

thanks for the input ok here's my situation i have a chance to buy to new boggers 31x12.50 for 150 for both and then i can just buy 2 more for 170 or so thats my dilema i want the boggers because they will be just my offroad tires and i like their "mean looks" so your saying that i should fit a 32 or bigger and get it 10.50 than to go shorter and wider i have a ome hd lift what size would you recommend |
