Who makes quick disconnects for the sway design on a 2001 DII? This doesn't appear to be the same as whats on a DI. Thanks, GP |

Greg, I belive Rovertyme makes them. They are about $95.00 per pair. I was going to get them for my DII but decided to remove the sway bars & see how it handled, it was okay with OME HD springs. Brian |

Go to a Tractor supply and get 2 pins, 6 washers, and 6 inches of copper tubing (2 x 3") for less than $25. |

I looked at the rovertym disconnects, but don't see how they could work on the DII. I was guessing they were designed for a DI. Maybe I'm wrong. As far as removing them, I was informed that PA law requires them on to pass inspection, so thats why I want the disconnects. Plus I'd like to have the option. As far as the "Tractor Supply" store idea, I guess I'm not creative enough, but I don't see the picture you are painting. Can you please explain further? Thanks Greg |

DII works totally different in the front than a DI. You cannot get by with the hitch pin approach. Tom |

Best I can tell, and remember, the front and rear sways are pretty much identical in design on the DII. They both have a dropping linkage with a ball joint on them. What ever works in the front of a DII should probably work in the rear. The question comes down to what works? |

Folks, You can use the quick disconnects from Jeeps! The end links are similar! Take a look at some in a 4x4 magazine and see how close they are to each other! |
