Can some one tell me if there is anyway to take care of a SRS light that is always on. I was working on the fuses, pulled one, and now it is always on. thanks, Jason |

I'd vote for you taking into the dealer. The only thing I know about the SRS (air bags) is that it can't save lives if it doesn't work. My appologies for my post in advance if it turns out to be something Lucas related and not a genuine problem. Thanks, Mike B. |

Ooops. I'd better learn to read better. I did exactly the same thing on my wife's Xterra. Not too sure about the Disco, but on the Xterra, the light reset itself after 20 or so starts. The code will still register next time they pull the codes, but the SRS light did go out. Sorry for the incorrect post and best of luck. Thanks, Mike B. |

You will have to go to the stealership. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY to extinguish this light without the Testbook or Autologic. I had my truck nearly a year before I was able to have it extinguished. Also, even with the Autologic tester, it is not easy. It took many tries to finally clear my lights and they were not able to extinguish my Anti-Lock light in spite of a valiant effort. Peace, Paul |

(1) Open the instrument panel and pull the bulb; (2) Black electrical tape. |

Wait until your inspection is due, have it inspected at the dealer, they'll switch it off then. Or just get your oil changed @ the dealer$hip and they'll do the same no cost above the oil change. |
