D1, ashtray removed and the philips screws revealed. The screws hold the part of the dash that holds the actual tray. If I back these out will the tray "holder" just slide out? Looks like it's connected to the cup holder slide tray. In the middle of a light wiring exercise so help is appreciated... Ron Ward |

Those are the first of 6 screws that hold the cupholder in place. if you gently pull on the cruise control switch pack it will come right out and there are the other three screws that hold the cupholder in place. |

Well...I mounted the switches to the face of the ash tray and routing the wires into the back of the ashtray "receptical" and few modifications to the tray itself allow me to complete the job without removing the facia. A mess to do, but a clean install once it gets buttoned up tomorrow afternoon. I'll post some pix when I get it finished. Ron Ward |
