I need some suggestions for an A-bar, H-bar, or nudge bar arrangement for a 95 LWB. I have no interest in the stock wrap-around brush guard or ARB airbag-ready bull bar that AB says are my only options. My desire is to add some cosmetic appeal to the truck and a place to hang some extra lights. I'm off-road very little, so I guess you can call me a "wannabe" 4WD guy! Thanks in advance for offering some suggestions and any pictures of set-ups could be very helpful and much appreciated! |

What doesn't appeal to you about the stock bar? Not that it is that great... but techinically there are not HUGE differences between the brushbars. And if your not off-road... the difference between brush bar and a-frame is price. They both hold lights. |

Um, lets see if I understand your question. You are just in need of something to hang an extra set of lights? If so, you kind of already know what you want. You just want an A-Bar, so you are limited in your choices as far as "make". You have singled out the only vendor that probably can assist you with your needs, because all other vendors stock the "other" types of brushbars, and bull bars your aren't interested in. Head over to the resources link above and select vendors.....shop around for what you may be intereseted in, but I doubt that you'll find a huge selection of A-Bars.....British Pacific, I think still stocks a similiar A-Bar that Atlantic British carries, the only differences between the two vendors is one is on the "left coast" and the other is on the "right coast"..... Actually Clif wrote the same thing I guess I'm trying to point out. |

I can't comment on the steel bars. However I can tell you how to make the front of a RRC look much better than stock. Order part# MXC1959 Front Lower Panel ~$80. This is the original "spoiler" which was on the classic and it matches the truck perfectly. This part is light weight, easy to attach, and doesn't interfere with ground when off-road. The aux light type spoiler, which we are familiar with, is awkward looking and reduces approach angle. Randall |

Randall, how did you procure that part# and part? I've been trying for months to find that info.....Who stocks it as a part, and are there any pics? |

94Rover Rovers north stocks them as their pn RNB247, and they have it illustrated in the RRC/Disco parts guide. You can't see anything in the illustration other than the portion of the spoiler which is tucked up under the radiator. If you want to see pictures then look at non-EFI models in any of those Land Rover magazines. But just trust me, the truck looks MUCH better with the original spoiler. Randall |

Thanks Randall, I just left the RN parts board, and I was able to find the diagram....next up, seek out 87 & 88 & 89 Range Rovers with this part.....gee, I've got a lot of LROI's and LRE's and LRW's to look through..... |
