does anyone know? Is the black body-plug/button in the center of the back (high part) of the roof of a disco II a wiring connector? If not what is is for? I haven't had the guts to pry mine off but am curious. |

This is a drain plug! Previous model (Discovery 1) owners complained about incessant leaking-sunroof issues, so Land Rover came up with the drain-plug solution. Of course, they never addressed how you flip the vehicle over to take advantage of this engineering masterpiece. I've used surgical tubing hooked up to my windshield washer pump to siphon the water out of the convenient little hole. Good luck. Cheers, Erik |
