I hear a click noise as soon as I press on the brake pedal. it is coming from the front brake area as if you were hitting two pads against each other. the car brakes fine, but makes this clicking noise whenever putting on the brakes. any advise 1993 Rangie |

I could easily be wrong, please correct me if I am guys, but I think that this is the relay of your brake lights being activated. That is what I found on my 96 D1 SE7. |

Sounds more like he's missing the anti-rattle springs. My last set of pads didn't have them and this is the sound I would get. -P |

I don't know if it happens with the 93's but i know that all the 4.0 and 4.6's make quite an audible click when u hit the brakes. Here is how u tell: with very slight pressure, tap the brake pedal, barely enough pressure to even nudge the pedal. Keep taking pressure on and off and then u will hear the clicking. If not, i have an 1988 RR and all teh shit in that car creaks and makes noises, brakes, steering, doors, windows. (if that makes you feel better) |
