Help, Im on vacation, and by accident I bumped into a post and now I cant lock my doors and my emergency flashers wont go off. any ideas?? I was only going about 5 mph . Is there some kind of reset switch? |

There is an interia switch inside the engine compartment. You don't say what Discovery you have, but on my '99 DSII, it's a black push button located on the passenger side of the firewall. It doesn't say, "Push Me!", but it's pretty obvious when you look for it.

You probably activated the inertia switch that is supposed to activate in a crash. Unhook the battery for 10 seconds then reconnect and you should be ok. |
