Friend of mine just found out hard way Hurricane alloys are no good for offroad-(ab)use... (two week old alloys/55-low profile tyres...). So now he's looking for new rims and tyres for offroading only. Which bigger size apply to the 38A for better clearane without any lift and no other mods? Thanks, Frode |

Randall et All, Can I run the 15x8 black steel rims from gulf coast rover on my 1990 rangie ? Is it the same bolt pattern? I can't reach GCR to confirm. I found a good deal on 4 on the croc board. Let me know what you think...tires should be a bit cheaper for 15x8 too and I get a bit of backspacing.. Will you be ready for uwharrie with your clubhouse mods? Let me know what parts you're left with - I might take them off your hands... JB |

JB Next tues is my day for the axle swaps. You will have to talk with Larry Harrel about left over parts. Larry has axles and cv joints stacked up like cord wood at the Uwharrie Safari. 8" wide wheel would be perfect for 10.5" wide tire. 11.5" wide tire would be good too. You may have to trim or lift to fit wide tires though. Again...ask Larry, he loves to answer these questions. Randall |
