Probablly not going to work, or at least not going to work very well. I would look into making (or buying) a CO2 system if you want a relatively cheap and compact solution. |

Valerio there is always the little 12 v inflator that are pretty cheap. If you search you may find one small enough to mount under seat (I'm 95 D1 with lots of little hiding places). Not as slick as factory but cheaper and more certain. I like the CO2 idea best as it can mount to inside of rear door. |

ARB make a great little 12v that comes in a hard plastic "tool" case. Works well and you can take it out to store in your house/garage. They also come without the case so you can install it in the engine bay or under the seat.
