I was going to take our boat out this weekend with my 96 disco but after hooking up the boat I noticed that there wasn't a spot to hook the safety chains from the trailer. I tried hooking them around the crossbars that come off the hitch, but the hook was not big enough to fit around the crossbar. I'm not sure if I'm blind, stupid, or both but has anybody else noticed this or had this problem? |

run the chains over the crossbars and hook them back to themselves |

I do pretty much what Carter says, except I picked up an 18" length of chain that I loop thru the hitch cross bars and attach that to the trailer chains with a couple of screw down repair links. Mike G. 96 Disco SD |
