So, I found the drain for the ATF but I haven't found how to fill transmission fluid for my 97 Discovery. I hear there's a top plug. Can someone give me the location of this top plug? Proximity to the drain plug would be helpful. Also, how accurate is the dipstick for the ATF? Thanks. |

You fill it through the dipstick. |

Disco I you fill through the dipstick tube using a transmission fluid funnel (long & skinny) or roll up a piece of thick paper or thin plastic to make one. I think Disco II's have the plug since they don't have a dipstick. |
