I some how left the key on last night and now I have the SRS light on every time I start my disco. I read the archives and I'm not sure what they are talking about when it comes to resetting this light.
Can I run down to Autozone and have them reset this thing.
Once my batt. gets a full charge will it stop coming on without it getting reset?

Needs resetting! A full battery charge won't do a thing to it. It's very annoying.

Sorry Bill, I can't help you with that question, I'm not in the US.

Afraid only the dealer can reset it for you.

Andy is correct, I just had the same problem several mo.'s back. Dealer should only charge you one hour of labor (they just hook it up to the Computer and run a diagnostic of the srs system). Takes less than 20 min. If you have more than one dealer option close see who charges less per hour. My difference per hour was $30 btwn DC and Richmond, Va dealers.

Thanks for the input. I'm trying to be cheap. Has anyone tried to pull the SRS fuse? Will this work or just make it worse?
