Left my rear driver side window open the other day in a decent bit of rain. When I discovered it and attempted to raise the window nothing happened. Tried both the console switch and the door switch. I'm assuming some sort of regulator or electrical component got wet and failed. I'm waiting for it to dry out and try again but I'm guessing that's not going to pan out.

In the meantime, how do I safely remove the door panel? Do I simply unscrew the pull handle and pop the panel off? I'm assuming it's probably held on with some of those annoying Christmas Tree fasteners?

Once inside, might there be a way to manually raise the window until I can get it to a dealer or replace the failed part?

Anyone else have this happen?

And yes, I've read the tech section but I guess I wanted to know if the DII was any different and the tech article doesn't mention a means of manually raising the window until I can replace what's gone bad.
