People,

In an attempt to be anal about keeping my Disco in tip top shape, I am constantly adjusting, cleaning, and replacing anything that needs it....every weekend doing SOME form of fiddling.

Question, I sprayed dubious amounts of Choke cleaner into my intake (removed the air duct and sparayed directly into the flenum). Cleaned it with a clean rag, all the while the truck was running. It didn't seem to do anything major with regard to how it idles or runs, but does anyone think this MAY have had any adverse effect on my rig?

You have no worries unless the spray was made before 1980. They used to put methylene chloride in carb spray and it was hard on O2 sensors. The O2 sensor safe stuff has been out since the mid 80's.

Not a problem, I use the stuff everyday on these trucks.
