Anyone familiar with this restrictor type black plastic thing, inserted in the valve cover vacuum connection for the breather on a DII ?? Mine's broken off in the vacuum hose. Could have been a check valve. Removed the broken piece from the hose some time ago. The rest is in the valve cover, where a PCV valve would go in a real vehicle..... Just realized this may be a source of my lean code during decell at highway speed. That's when the vacuum would also be at it's highest. (throttle closed fully) Fische doesn't show this part in exploded view. Looks like it comes with the valve cover assy. ??? (oil filler side) |
