On occaision I have to park my 95 Disco on lets say, other than level ground. It seems that when I'm at too much of an angle water accumlates on the floor board when it rains. Interested to hear from anyone who has a remedy for this situation, (other than park on leval ground) not possable. thanks, Sterling |

Do you have sunroofs? If so I would think that is the culprit...especially if you don't close them ;-) Ask me how I know... |

Water only appeared on the passenger floor, and only if I washed the lower part of the windshield. It is still one of lifes mysteries. But like Daniel said I still think my roofs didnt drain or leaked also. -Jim |

A friend with a 95 said he had the same problem, and that the dealer caulked something (I believe under the hood)to fix it. We live in the desert and garage our truck, so it's normally not a problem, but the one time we took our 95 through a carwash, they stopped the line while we were under one of the jets, and water literally poured out from the bottom of the dash on the passenger side. No more carwashes after that! John |

Check the drain tubes in the cowling (under the hood below the windshield wipers). They may be clogged. I had this problem recently. The filter material that runs across the cowl had disintegrated, falling into the tubes and blocking drainage. Flooded the floor on the passenger side. You can blow them out with compressed air. To replace the filter, get some AC filter material at Home Depot and cut it to size. Cost about $.93 |

...funny you should mention the car wash. I have noticed water accumlation on the passinger floor board (just a few drops) after the "under carrage" wash at the local car wash. It could be the sunroofs but it isn't all the time, mainly during a heavy rain, we live in a rain forrest in Southeast Alaska (15 feet of rain a year). I'll check out the cowling tubes also as well as all the suggestions. My thanks to all who posted, I truly appreciate the input. thanks Ster |
