Running a '94 D1 in Arizona, (111 degrees the other day). Parts guy lists both a 160 and a 180 degree thermostat for my rig.
Will installing the 160 adversely effect anything?

Hope somebody can answer this for me . . .

You got to run a 195. The engine and ECU are made to run at that temp.

Thanks Bill, that's the info I gleamed from the archives as well. I picked up an 88C OEM thermostat from BAP for $7.00 (dealer wanted $30).
Gauge has had a mind of it's own lately, will run cool one day, hot the next, hope the T-stat is the problem so I can get 1 more year before rodding/coring.
