OK. Here goes............ New sound.....When I'm coming to a stop, say in traffic.......the very last few inches as I'm barely moving and coming to a stop...I hear a noise almost as if two pieces of metal are shifting, moving a distance of maybe an inch. And when I accelerate I hear it very briefly too, KIND OF like a subtle scraping or shifting. Additionally, I can FEEL this movement RIGHT under my left foot against the floor board. Obviously something is loose? I heard something in the exact spot for the last few months but the sound was more subtle so I guess whatever it was is worsening. Before it was a soft thud. Any ideas folks?? I have to go to the desert this weekend and I'm going with a bunch of J@#*Ps so don't let me be shown up by those bastards!!! |

Could the bolts that secure the sway bar just be loose? Well, I'm sure this COULD be the case, but if I actually do need some fresh bushings, could I just really tighten down the bolt for now, as long as I don't tighten too much and freeze the thing. |

Check the engine mounts, they are loose or broken. |
