I just inherited a 97 Disco with 83000 miles, I know the oil has been changed regularly and the air filter is clean - all fluids look good . I am wondering if I should do the 90K service to be on the safe side- also any recomendations for parts like tran filter, wires, cap , rotor etc. I do not think the 60K was ever done.
Thanks for any help

When I get a new vehicle, I do a complete service despite what the previous owner might have said. Not only does it give you a base line, but it help you understand the vehicle.

Check the vendors section of this site for parts. Nathan at Discount Rovers has pretty good prices.

Come back and ask questions. Welcome to Dweb.

Good luck with your new rover.
