Hey guys - I bent a couple cross members under my 2000 DII on a recent trip. Not sure what the specific names of these bars are. The first one is a round hollow tubular bar that sits just under my ARB in front of the steering damper (see pic attached). The second is also hollow but rectangular shaped and crosses the truck immediately under and behind the parking brake drum. I think these are both just skid guards but am not sure. Think it is safe to just pull em off and straighten them back out or do I need to replace them? Thanks for the help.

The front is unnecessary, the rear is important structurally. I have the rear one spare if you are interested or yours is beyond repair.

With respect to the TCase crossmember, when you remove it, check to make sure that you did not do any damage to the mounting points on the frame.

Hey Ron - I tried to get back in touch with you today. I managed to find a local wrecker who was able to set me up with both cross members for 60 bucks. Thanks for your offer though. Not sure why my hotmail is having trouble receiving mail - seems a few people have been having trouble getting through. Cheers.
