Seems like everytime I fix one thing, two more problems arise! Just got my rear door windows to working by re-soldering the ecu behind glovebox. works fine now. But, now all my dash lights have gone out! Have checked all the fuses and are all ok. There are two loose red wires in the panel underneath the steering wheel. one is short and the other is very long, both single strand. Can't seem to find where they go. Tips please. |

Welcome to the wonderful world of lucas! Your turn signal stalk may be burned out if all the fuses are good and the dash lights still dont work. Also, check your rear tail light, they are probably out also. In that case make sure you use your rear fog lights untill you fix everything so others can see you at night. Dan |

ha ha ha ha, welcome. I have the same problems. But it looks like you can do the work on your own vs. someone like me that has to bring it in for someone to look at it. |

It is a 15 min fix. All you need is a screwdriver and a new turn signal. Before you order one, check here and LRX.com to see if anyone is parting out. Turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left, and remove the steering column cover (3 screws) Remove the 2 screws at the base of the turn signal. Pull it until it comes out. Once out, try spraying the connectors with wd-40 or something. Maybe they are just losing contact. I had one burn out, and one lose contact. Wd-40 helps, but only short periods. |

So as Greg says, I had the same thing happen on my 95 and it was a bad turn signal switch, you have to remove the entire unit and replace it. Very easy to do like Greg says. |
