I've been waiting for the trailer wiring kit I ordered (and paid for) when I bought my Disco from the dealer...back in November! (they didn't tell me it was unavailable...they just gave me the vehicle without it when I picked it up. The part would be in soon) HA HA HA Well, today I said to heck with it. The tech section here had a post on how to tap into the existing harness and finish the trailer wiring job without landrovers wiring kit. The post is called TrailerWire disco II. Worked like a charm for 20 bucks...now the dealer can refund my 200 bucks for their nonexistent kit....(which they said was the only kit that would work) What a bunch of BS...I've got alot of stuff I tow. I can't beleive Land Rover can't get their you know what together enough to provide trailer wiring connection. Thanks to the tech section here...I can finally tow, and I saved a wad to boot. Thanks! |
