Does anyone have one of there roof racks? Hows the quality for the price? I would like to get an adventure rack but just can't see myself spending over $800 for one.... |

I'm kind of interested in knowing the answer to this question as well. I don't think I would ever buy a bumper or sliders from them but how much can you srew up with a roof rack? |

yeah, that would be hard to screw up a rack. But then again there are some butt ugly (yet functional) racks out there. I saw that europarts has adventures for $780 but if you add shipping to that it's well over $800 and probobly near $900. Does anyone else have any info? |

DAP likely sells the bearmach rack. I think Kyle has one of them. Ron |

Yeah, Ron it does appear to be the same roof rack as bearmach's. The bearmach site had the same picture as dap but I got dap to send me another one from a different angle which I will try to post in case anyone is interested. Is Ron right Kyle? Do you have one of these racks? If so what do you think about it, I think it looks good I am just worried about quality.

The Europarts rack was $850 with shipping and handling to Denver. I just ordered it last Friday. |

"The Europarts rack was $850" Thats exactly why this one is so appealing (assuming it is of decent quality), DAP sells it for $300 |

Didn't say it wasn't appealing - just clearing up any confusion as to the cost. I figure that you can make your own decisions on what you want to buy. |

Jarrod, not to ruffle any feathers but I got an e-mail from them saying it was $786+$75(slowboat)shipping. And doesn't Denver east have adventure racks for $899? |

Carter - Not trying to ruffle feathers either. Give a smart ass answer - get another in return. That's how this board works. ; ) Jeff- Maybe I was talking to the guy sweeter than you were?? I was quoted $850 with S&H included (checked the credit card and they didn't overcharge or anything). I am pretty damn impatient when it comes to toys for my truck, but not impatient enough that I will pay an extra $50 (plus tax) to get it 1 1/2 weeks earlier. Plus, after just getting done dealing with Rover East on a truck there and having promise after promise to me broken on their end - I think I am done dealing with them. Funny, I have also had bad experiences with Rover South. Neither of these dealerships seem to treat you with respect unless you drive in with a truck over $30K. My dealings with Flatirons continue to be great though and they continually surprise me with how nice they are. Go figure?! |
