Hey guys just like the title says , I just fit the Interco Trxus 265/75r16's without cutting at all. I use Kyles method of spacing the rear quarter panels and it works like a charm. Front needed no trimming even with the factory air dam and fog lights. I took it off road (heavy articulation) and nothing rubbed! Thanks Kyle for the quarter panel spacing idea, and many thanks to Tom and the others who helped me extensively in my "can it be done" thread !! Emilio P.S I have 2" OME lift and thats it! |

i got them in 255/85/16's and they are pretty good on the road. did 300 miles the day after i got them and were alot quieter than the General Grabber M/T's they replaced. then a few days later did a trip from Cleveland to St. Louis and back. just need the gears now. BTW, Trxus M/T's run small. the 255/85/16's are about 32.7" tall, unlike the BFG's at 33.2" great tire (for the price) in the mud. |

I have a D1 and the gearing is not bothersome. I did notice a difference going uphill but i just increase my speed prior to the climb or if i have to i use 3rd. The tires are a bit noisier on road than the BFG MT's that they replaced but i kind of like the hum anyways. In my opinion it makes the truck sound "rougher" or "tougher" (like a real 4x4 should sound like!) I still have the air dam on because i realy like the look. I know that i could potentialy increase my aproach angle but i haven't had a problem yet. When i unknowingly leave the air dam on the trail i'll get the ARB. |
