I'm running 235/85 BFG Mud Terrains on an OME HD lift. For some reason my driver's-side rear tire rubs on full stuff, bending up the aluminum of the rear quarter panel. (The passenger side doesn't.) I did what I thought was the necessary trimming (obviously I can trim more) but why would it rub on one side and not the other? The trim lines are practically identical.

Ned,
I have the same thing with 235/85 BFG All Terrain's and OME HD lift - inner fender trimming and bracing out, but got some rubbing on the passenger side and none on the driver side. Go figure. My only guess is that I have the lean, and this gave me just enough difference to let it rub on the one side and not the other. This seems as though it would be pretty truck specific, but, if anyone has any input otherwise, I would love to hear it.

I've got the same springs from side to side, front and back (none of that higher spring height to counter the weight of the driver nonsense). But maybe it's not nonsense at all. Maybe my fat ass is what's putting the driver's side over the edge and causing the rub? I never thought of that as a possiblity.

Let's see... work out or trim more aluminum? Think I'll break out the Rotozip.
