I am butchering my wiring a bit this coming weekend to install a XM radio on the dash. I do NOT want fm modulation, or that cassette nonsense.. In short, I am going to install a small line level switcher with multiple ins on the two line out audio wires from the cd changer , thus feeding a clean clear line level signal to the head unit from multiple and switchable sources including the cd changer. Im wondering if someone has already found out what wires are what on the cd changer harness / loom. Yes, I will take pics as I do this to help others... I think this could be the best way to go, as this will allow you to retain your stock head unit, all the controls on the dash, etc, and replace all your amps and speakers with no worry of problems. Thanks in advance |
