-- The track is clean, clear, and greased -- It moves for & bak just fine -- It goes from OPEN to VENTING position just fine...and then just stops about 1" above weather seal...DAMN! --I opened the little cap in the overhead console, but turning that little allen screw is so stiff...I think I'm going to break something if I keep messing with it!! -- It seems like the motor is at the end of the track AND IT'S STARTING TO RAIN!! |

Mine does that every so often on my '95 (usually only during extremely hot weather). The trick for me is to get inside and push up gently at the center of the front egde of the glass while pushing the "down" button with the other hand. The glass should make a little "pop" and then ease right down. Works like a charm for me without the hassle of getting my tools out and doing some real damage!!! |

I had the same problem and used Norm's trick to get mine closed. Just a little up pressure in the middle of the glass while pushing the down button gets it closed. Then I cleaned and relubed everything. It works fine now. But I haven't used it as much as in the past. Good luck, Steve |
