I want to do some basic maintenance to my Disco I, but the manual only shows a few narrow jacking points for the stock jack. I'd like to use my floor jack, but I'm not sure where I can jack the truck. Can anyone offer some suggestions? John K. Tampa, FL 1998 Disco I LSE |

I use the same points when I use my floor jack. The diff housings work pretty well for the passenger side points front and rear. I put the jack under the axles just off-center to jack the drivers side. This leaves room to fit the jack stands safely. Are you going to the FLRC rally this weekend in Lake City? Many people will be coming from your area. -P |

Sounds like a blast, but we're taking the kids to Disney World this weekend. Lake City; isn't that near the intersection of I-75 and I-10? John K. Tampa, FL 98 Disco LSE |

Yes, very near the intersection of I75 and I10. There is a large Natl. Forest (OSceola) there and it has lots of trails and fun things to do. Have fun getting bent over at Disney World. -P |

That would be "The Gate", "The Parking Lot", "The Concession Stand", The Souvenier Vendor", and the "Resturant". I think adult tickets down there are somehere near $50 each per day. Regular hamburgers $8-$10. I though wheelning was expensive until I went to Disney and Busch Gardens. -P |
