Hey folks, This is just a quick follow-up to my previously posted problem. After learning about the 80k warranty on my catalytic converters (and seeing 79,200 miles on my odometer), I scheduled an appointment with LR Portland to have them take a look at my truck. After running their tests, they said I did, in fact, have two faulty cats and they'd be replaced free of charge. Only problem was that those bad cats had also killed my almost new O2 sensors, and those aren't covered in the warranty. So, with a lightning-fast delivery from Nathan Crabtree, the dealership both replaced the cats and installed my new set of sensors, free of charge. Even managed to get the wet dog smell out of my interior when they washed it -- and there's no telling what I would have paid for that! Brian |

The end result is excessisive emissions that can ruin your O2 sensors. When the O2 sensors go bad, you then up with worse emissions and fuel ecomony even lower than normal. Brian |
