I`m going to buy a 48 or 60 inch Hi Lift jack here soon. I was wondering whats the best way to mount it to my Disco. Are there any good mounting systems made by companies out there besides Hi Lift? |

Jeff, Check out Ho's mounting brackets in this pic. Go to EE's Hilift page for more info. Good luck. -glenn |

I bought a $G tire carrier holder cause I felt I had no other option, no roof rack and other plans for the mounting points on top of the ARB. As of this weekend at Tellico I now lay my 60" on the floor board in the back seat. Fits perfectly. No more banging around and I'm sure my tire carrier appricaiates it greatly. I can only imagine the strain of holding that thing as you buck down the trails. I'll keep the $G mount in the back bins for special situations. |

I strap my 48 incher to the metal bar under the rear seat. Its clean when you need it to work, its weight is low and its out of the way Chris |

FWIW, AB is offering a new mount in their latest catalog. it is similar to the $G, but adds a nice foot plate! mike w |

Order the same product direct from Terrain Master ( they are great to deal with ) for less including shipping, I had one sent in for $100 but have since stopped using it for the door problems previously mentioned. Mike |
