Yeah yeah yeah, I know Ho is gonna say that all AT's suck and get the Dunlop RT but most of my driving is on the highway and I want to stay with the stock size (235/70x16). When I do go off road, I try to steer clear of mud. I would buy the XPC's again, but they are out of production and hard to find. The replacement Synchrone's have a very closed pattern that probably isn't any good off road. Looking at the Dunlop AT ($73) and RV ($95), BFG AT ($139) and possibly the Synchrones ($169) or XPC's ($165) if the other tires aren't at least as good. Since my wife drives the vehicle alot and it is a keeper, price isn't that important to me, getting the best all-around tire is. Thanks in advance. |

Considering what you stated aboveI would say get Michelin LTX M&S. I have them on my Tahoe and they perform excellent on road. Very quiet & smooth with Michelin quality. Even getting the E load range is a very smooth tire. I haven't experienced them off road, but I am betting they are on par or better than the stock XPC's. Tom p.s. There is more than one LTX, so be sure to specify the M&S. The run about $125 at discount tire in your size. |

zinhead, i'd not vote for RTs. they suck. LOL if you like the XPCs, take a look at the michelin cross terrains. |
