Before we can answer this question, we need to see one. They are not here in the states yet. Are they on sale in UK?

Due out June 1st in the UK

By the looks of it, the lights *might* fit, but I'm not sure, the bonnet / wing configuration looks the same, but they've redesigned the front bumper, and the light cluster may be a bit deeper than before.

BTW, I wish I was in the US - we're not getting the 4.6 V8 version - We're stuck with the existing 4.0 :-(((

Matt.

Hard to say anything about the depth of the lights. One thing I noticed though, was that the fascia/body piece below the light cluster is different than current DII. This will be a problem for those of us with discontinued colors. But isn't major. I'm sure my local body shop would be happy to repaint it...

One other thing, I also noticed in the pictures of the DII '03 on Disco2.com, that their is a rubber grommet, dead center in the roof behind the rear sunroof.

Is this possibly a part of the navigation system coming out this year as well?

Just took delivery of a 02 Disco with the navigation system. The GPS antenna is encased in little ceramic pod. That's what you are seeing right behind the rear sunroof. Don't know how practical the navigation system will be, but it's a great toy.

Interesting that the NAV system has an antenna that isn't hidden.

FWIW, The NAV systems I have in my other two cars is awesome! I won't get another car without it... unless it's a D90 :)

Hey Tim, any chance you can post a pic of that Nav system? I'm really curious as to whether it would be nice to retrofit to my DSII.

Cheers,
Dave

Isn't the nav system just voice like the freelanders? If so, you're better off spending money on a Garmin or similar.

The nav system is basically a Becker traffic pro.
Here's a link

The screen is not very big, it's voice plus small graphics. Doesn't provide map like large screen GPS systems, but it doesn't take up much room either.
I'm still trying to figure out my mechanical pencil, so it doesn't take much to amaze me.

Tim
