While driving down to NC beaches last week the SRS dashboard light came on. And when we got down to NC my wife noticed that her floor was soppin wet under the rubber floor mats (from the front to the rear passanger floor. Well, I remembered the posts on this site on how to fix the blockage in the condensate drip tube. But I forgot to be to the side of the drain tube and got soak'n wet when the block was cleared (was'nt to bad since the road was baking hot and the water was cold). For the SRS light problem, while talking with a LR service person about trying to get it into the shop, I found out from him that most of the time its a problem with the wiring to the seatbelts (SRS light would go on immediately after the seat belt indicator would go off). So I checked to make sure all the wiring connections were tight under both seats and sure enough the SRS light went out and has stayed out. Tony K, 2000 DII |
