Just to make certain, there is not a code that throws this light correct? It's a timed response mechanism right?

That is correct. Mine acually stated 42k on the inside of the box. It even has a small battery in it. Mine came on right at 84k. |

Hey guys. That service light drove me crazy. I did some research and found that if you locate the orange colored box under the passenger seat labeled "Emission Reminder", and stick a pin through the left hole under the label, the light will reset. I believe some boxes only have one hole. Maybe you already know this, but trying to help. Good luck. |
