I had my 97 Disco read at an AutoZone. The OB II said it was ( Ignition System or Misfire). All of the fault codes on the net say that the P1317 is ABS related. Does anybody know about this fault code? Any help would be appreciated!!!!! |

Justin: After installing new front brake pads on my 97 discovery the ABS light came on and the the check engine light is on. I went and had a diagnostic and it threw up fault 1316. Alot of people say that this is a ABS sensor and if you disturb them while doing a brake job, they will throw a fault. Try reseatting both front ABS sensors. This should cause the light to go out. |
