Need some help with gearbox install

Author Message   Eric Olsen (Eric_olsen) Member Username: Eric_olsen Post Number: 72 Registered: 02-2003 Posted on Sunday, August 17, 2003 - 10:27 am:    I am almost finished with a gearbox install, but I can not get the torque converter and drive plate holes to line up (There are four bolts I need to install). When I rotate the engine the drive plate spins and I can see the four holes in the drive plate, but no threads behind the holes. I am a not sure how to get the torque converter to spin?(I am assuming the is where I will find the threads) I am so afraid I put something together the wrong way, I marked everything and it seemed pretty straight forward. Any help is, as always appreciated.
