I am looking to get a set of steel wheels for my 96 DI. Where can I find them (I have already sourced them from AB and Rovers North)? Are there others that also sell them? I heard a rumour that American Racing makes a set that will fit the disco. Is this true and if so does anyone know the part number?

Thanks in Advance,

jeff.

i just got a full set of NATO's for my '96 D1 from Rovers North. they had the best prices and are closer than most places, so shipping was reasonable. http://www.thatchedroofgarage.com has them too.
they are MUCH heavier than the american racing wheels. thicker steel. they are about 35 lbs. each. gulf coast rovers sells the american racing wheels for the D1's.

Yes, American Racing makes some, but the other way you can get them is though http://www.gulfcoastrovers.com/
I don't know way you can't get them from only AR dealers, but you can't.

Thanks Guys,

Does anyone know the American Racing part number. I would prefer to get the wheels locally to save on shipping and duty charges (I am located in Canada). There are several American Racing dealers in my area and it would make things much easier.

Thanks Again,

jeff.

Jeff,

Did you miss the part about the fact that American Racing dealers don't sell these? These are custom batch wheels that are not stocked products for AR.

Garrett, Rolf, and Blake,

Thanks for the information...I greatly appreciate it. Sorry Rolf I didn't understand what you were saying but once I substituted "why" for "way" it became clear.

Again Thanks,

jeff.
