Does any body have any feedback? i am going to be adding lockers to my truck and since i already have a 20 lb power tank i would like to run them off of that. My main concern is the air consumption rate from the lockers. in other words can i wheel for a day and then still have enough air to air my tires back up? thanks in advance |

A friend of mine runs his ARB lockers off of a Powertank and has no problems. Air consumption doesn't seem to be and issue as the diff doesn't use very much air to lock up.

So long as you adjust your regulator for the ARB requirements, you'll be fine. Whoever you buy the ARBs from should be able to tell you what psi they require; or ARB can. It's usually around 80-90psi. Give them more psi and you may blow a seal; less they may not engage. The CO2 will not harm anything in the air supply line or the locker itself. joe |
