The fan clutch seized up on my 94 Disco this weekend...luckily I heard it "engage" at low speed and so was able to remove the fan for the rest of the 300 mile trip I was on before it self destructed and took the belt/radiator/hood with it. Funny thing is the car ran MUCH better without the fan..a significant increase in power!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was all highway so it never ran any hotter. I should really fit an electric unit but am selling the car soon...anyone know a cheap source for a preferably used fan clutch???????? Pete 94Disco |

Pete, you may get by with twin electric fan setup, but the chances are you'll be looking for that fan clutch in very little time. check discountrovers.com for a new fan clutch, you don't want another one crap out on you. peter |
