Okay, bear with me! Is the clock on a '97 D1 a sealed unit? Or does it use a bulb for illumination? Lastly, how do you get the clock out of the dash? Thanks in advance! Z |

Another clock question: On my 2000 Disco is it normal that the digital clock on the dash doesn't light up like the other instruments when the lights are on? talk about annoying! |

With motor off it doesn't light up. With motor on lights full up. With motor and lights on , an atenuator makes it light medium power up. Regards |

So if the hour number in the clock is not working, is that the bulb, or do I need a new clock? |

If it's your hour number and only that, you need a new clock. I had the same problem. E-mail a junkyard like rover cannibal or someplace like that. I got mine for $40 from a place in NJ. I forgot the name. |

$10 for a bulb ?? I bought one for £1.30 recently ($2-ish) for my clock backlight - yes, the one embedding in the plastic housing. Matt. |
