Trying to yank jumpseats out; what is the size of Torx (correct?) to use ? Do I need a special trim removal tool for panels ? TIA Katrina |

Katrina, You normally need a "removal tool" in the shape of a large screw driver with a Y ending instead of a flat blade in order to pull the plastic nails out. However, I have used in the past things like kitchen forks with extra care, making sure that I do not damage the plastic cover of the trim... Watch out for the trim around the alpin lights as it is clamped onto a metal beam from behind as well as being "nailed". Once you have pulled the pins out, you will need to carefully pull the trim panel down to unclip it then out... Good luck, Luc |
