Hello, I hooked up two Hella 4000's on my Disco II & used directions from disco2.com.but the directions did not say what color the factory headlight wire switch is. What color is the factory light swith that I need to tap into if I want my lights to work whenever any (brights or low beam)headlights are on ? Thank you, Brian |

I have done the same installation. At the headlight the wire for brights is blue which I tapped into. Good Luck. www.worst4x4.freeservers.com |

Joel, When you tapped into the blue wire did the aux. lights work with the low & high beams ? Thank you, Brian |

The relay trigger terminal was connected to the blue wire so that when high beam was on then the Hellas came on. You could also use a dash mounted switch to light up the hellas regardless. There are different laws in each country. Some say that the Hellas must be on a separate switch and can only be activated on high beam. To do this you would need two relays. I work on the principal that when I need bright then I must have real bright hence the HEllas come on on high beam. Hope this helps. |

Joel, Thanks for the help that makes sense. I know behind the dash which color wires are the High & low beams but not sure which one the headlights only wire is. Thanks, Brian |
